Jen Poyer CSEP has a diverse work experience in event planning and management. Jen started their career as an Account Executive at That's Cool Events, where they designed event decor and solutions for clients. Jen then worked as Group Sales at the Queen Mary Hotel and Donor Services at South Coast Repertory. Jen also has experience in the nonprofit sector, serving as a Director of the International Board of Governors at the International Live Events Association (ILEA) and as a Director at the Catalina Island Conservancy. At ILEA, they received the Mettle Attitude Leadership Award for their work on the certification committee and played a key role in revamping content development for the annual conference. Overall, Jen has demonstrated passion and expertise in event management and donor engagement.

Jen Poyer CSEP holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a minor in Studio Art from Chapman University. Jen also has a certificate in Professional Meeting and Event Planning from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, they obtained a certificate in Event Management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and completed a Master Class in Sports Event Management from Meeting Professionals International.

Furthermore, Jen Poyer CSEP has participated in the 10,000 Women Online program offered by Goldman Sachs. Jen has also earned several certifications, including Enterprise Design Thinking - Practitioner from IBM, Event Safety Access Training from the Event Safety Alliance, and Cvent Virtual Events Certification as well as Cvent Event Management Certification from Cvent.

In terms of industry recognition, Jen Poyer CSEP is a Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) accredited by the International Live Events Association (ILEA).
