Julian Montagut

Julian Montagut is a data scientist with a strong background in biomedical engineering and chemical engineering. Currently serving as a Data Scientist II at CATALOG since January 2023, responsibilities include managing data processing and analytics for the Future Technologies Team to enhance sequencing throughput. Prior to this role, Julian worked at Quest Diagnostics as a Scientist in R&D - Genetics, where a deep understanding of long read sequencing platforms was developed. Experience as a Computational Biologist at ReviveMed involved bridging early-stage signal detection with biological network generation, alongside earlier roles in research and internships that focused on data analysis and neural networks. Julian holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Brown University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
