Thorsten Ross

Thorsten Ross has a significant amount of work experience in the field of medical research. Thorsten is currently working at CatalYm GmbH as the VP of Preclinical Research & Translation Strategy, a position they have held since July 2023. Before that, Thorsten worked at Affimed from October 2018 to July 2023 as a Senior Program Director and from January 2016 to September 2018 as a Research Program Head. Prior to Affimed, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Affimed from July 2013 to December 2015. Thorsten also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at MRC National Institute for Medical Research from June 2012 to June 2013.

Thorsten Ross obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology from UCL between 2008 and 2012. Before that, they earned a Diplom in Humanbiologie from The Philipp University of Marburg from 2003 to 2008. In 2022, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Goethe Business School at Goethe University Frankfurt. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2022.
