Katie Janowiak

Katie Janowiak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and impact leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Impact at Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties since May 2019, Katie has also held roles such as Strategic Advisor and VP of Communications & Impact in the organization. Previous positions include Communications Consultant and Director of Communications & Knowledge Insights at the Council of Michigan Foundations, and Manager of Community Investments at T-Mobile. Katie's career began with significant roles at Medtronic, including Global Engagement Portfolio Lead for Medtronic Philanthropy. Additionally, experience includes marketing management at Sodexo and event coordination at Borders Group Inc and the American Red Cross. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations from Michigan State University.
