Rocío Rojas

Rocío Rojas is a prominent leader in the field of tourism innovation and community development in Latin America. As the CEO and Founder of Turistech, Rojas has focused on open innovation and the development of emerging destinations through strategic partnerships with academic institutions, public management, private sectors, and civil society. Rojas also serves as the Director of Innovation and Communications for the Federación Latinoamericana de Ciudades Turísticas, promoting integrated management of tourism in Ibero-America. Additionally, Rojas holds positions with various organizations such as CED Destinations, Catalyste+, REDINTUR, and the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, contributing to sustainable tourism, women's empowerment, and advisory roles. Rojas's educational background includes degrees in Business Management from Universidad de Málaga and Universidad de San Martín de Porres, along with training in community management and foreign language teaching.
