Kristen Shiveley

Kristen Shiveley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and business development. Currently serving as a Board Member for both Fear 2 Freedom and Catch A Lift Fund since April 2021 and 2017 respectively, Kristen actively contributes to initiatives supporting veterans and community empowerment. As President of Core Connections since 2015, Kristen focuses on business networking, recruiting, and development. Previously, Kristen held the role of President at Ice House Cove Oysters from 2011 to 2014, overseeing oyster management and marketing, and also led First Class Reunions Inc. from 1996 to 2003 in event planning. Early career experience includes business development management at Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (1994-1996). Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Business from Virginia Tech.
