Laura DeMartino

Laura DeMartino has over 8 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry. Laura began their career in 2012 as President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at The Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2013, they held two positions simultaneously - SportsZone On-Air Director of Talent and Public Relations Intern at Harley School. In 2015, they became Social Media Intern/Content Writer at EarthLink. In 2016, they worked as Marketing Communications Specialist at BlackBox Biometrics, Inc. In 2017, they held three positions - Social Media & Marketing Associate at Springbox, Corporate Community Manager at AMD with Liaison Creative + Marketing, and Creative Marketing and Production Project Manager at American Campus Communities. In 2021, they began their current role as Project Manager at catchfire creative. Throughout their career, Laura has proofed, edited, and provided creative direction and thinking for marketing assets, collaborated with the marketing, leasing, and operations teams to support the implementation of strategic marketing plans, managed all corporate social media handles and platforms, created strategies to complete business objectives and represent brands, posted, monitored, and responded for a range of brands, helped the creative team with monthly cadence concepts, kept up with current trends/platforms/happenings and made recommendations for optimization, managed military wearable tech company public relations efforts, performed ongoing maintenance and updates of content to three company websites, produced company collateral, and developed connections with new parents interested in having their child attend the Nursery-12th grade college preparation school.

Laura DeMartino has an education history that includes graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2016 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, with a focus on Media Technology and Journalism. Laura also attended Corning-Painted Post West High School from 2009 to 2012.
