Chris Smith

Chris Smith currently serves as the President and Sales Manager at Cates Control Systems, a position held since January 2015, after previously working as a Sales Engineer and Engineer at the same company from 1989 to 2010. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Sales Manager at WIKA Instrument Corporation from July 2011 to January 2015, overseeing OEM and direct sales across several states, and as Territory Account Manager at Rittal from December 2010 to July 2011. Chris Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University (1994-1998) and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting at The University of Texas at Dallas (January 2022 - May 2024).
