Peter C. Thompson

Peter C. Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over 40 years. Peter C. began their career in 1976 at Bank of America as an Agriculture Industry Lending Specialist. Peter C. then served as the Controller at Solomon Island Housing Authority from 1979 to 1981. From 1982 to 1986, they worked as the Oil & Gas Lender at California First Bank - Energy Dept. Following this, they became a Project Lending Specialist at The Bank of Tokyo Ltd. from 1986 to 1988. Peter C. then joined Union Bank as the Team Leader of the Pacific Rim Corporate Group from 1991 to 2000. Peter C. worked at MUFG Union Bank as a Senior Credit Executive in the Commercial Banking & Specialized Lending Groups from 2001 to 2014. Peter C. held the role of Senior Credit Administrator in Commercial & Industrial Lending at Cathay Bank from 2014 to 2017 before moving on to become the SVP Lead Credit Officer in Structured Finance at City National Bank from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Vice President and Manager of the Fund Finance Group at Cathay Bank since 2019.

Peter C. Thompson obtained an MBA in International Business Education & Research (\"IBEAR\") from USC Marshall School of Business. Peter C. also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance & Econ from California State University, Chico. In addition, they received an Award in Accounting from UCLA Extension. Peter C. is also a Certified Public Accountant in Colorado, certified by the Colorado State Board of Accountancy.
