Leon Chen

Leon Chen is a seasoned professional in venture capital and mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Managing Director at Cathay Innovation since May 2022, where Leon leads the Cathay Innovation China team. Prior to this role, Leon was the Head of Enterprise and Tech Investment at Baidu, Inc. from May 2017 to March 2022, overseeing M&A and investment activities in various technology sectors. Leon's earlier experience includes serving as Director and Head of M&A at China Millennium Capital, a Senior Associate at CITIC Securities, and an Associate at Jun Leon Law Offices. Leon holds a JD and an LLM from Tulane University Law School.
