Joanne Bennett

Joanne Bennett has extensive experience in the field of social services and advocacy. Joanne most recently served as the Director of Operations at Catholic Charities Atlanta since October 2018. Prior to that, they were the Program Director for the Family Intervention Team at Georgia Mentor from August 2016 to October 2018. Joanne also worked as the Program Manager at Court Appointed Special Advocates of Union County from September 2011 to July 2015. Before that, they were a Program Coordinator at Everybody Wins! Atlanta from September 2009 to February 2011. Joanne began their career as the Coordinator of Wraparound Services at Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems from July 1995 to July 2000. Joanne then worked as a Counselor at Kings County District Attorneys Office from November 1991 to July 1995. Joanne's early work experience includes a role as an Associate Counselor at Residential Youth Services from September 1989 to July 1991.

Joanne Bennett pursued their education in the field of Psychology. Joanne attended Penn State University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Later, from 1989 to 1992, they furthered their studies at American University, garnering a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Psychology.
