Maurice Namwira

Maurice Namwira is a skilled cultural services case worker currently employed by the Town of Brunswick since June 2023. With extensive experience in community support and language services, Maurice has worked as a language partner with Catholic Charities Maine since February 2015, providing direct interpreting services. Previous roles include community support specialist and case manager at Midcoast Maine Community Action, as well as medical interpreter at Maine Medical Center, connecting patients with providers in multiple languages. Maurice has also served as a direct support professional and independent consultant in various organizations, focusing on advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities and providing financial literacy training.
