Sunnduss Mahmoud is an experienced professional with a strong background in education and community program management. Currently serving as an Extracurricular Activities Advisor at Averroes High School since June 2021, Sunnduss launched the Model United Nations program, winning two best research awards at the UC Berkeley Model United Nations Conference in 2021, while also designing fundraising protocols for students in financial need. As a Program Manager Intern at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, Sunnduss leads a Parish Engagement Program serving low-income families and refugees. Previously, Sunnduss managed the Domestic Abuse Relief Program at NISA, facilitating support for abuse victims, and worked as a high school teacher and advisor at Granada School, where Sunnduss developed lesson plans and launched anti-bullying initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Rutgers University, expected in May 2024, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution.
