Ileana Cortes Santiago

Ileana Cortes Santiago is an accomplished communications outreach manager and administrative professional currently working at the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) since January 2019, after initially starting as an administrative professional in late 2018. Previous experience includes serving as an Earth Sciences Summer Scholar at the National Science Foundation and as an instructor at Anhui Jhianzu University. Ileana has held various educational roles at Purdue University, including doctoral researcher, workshop facilitator, and graduate educator. Notable experiences also include serving as acting program director at the Butler Center for Leadership Excellence and language coordinator at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. Ileana holds a Ph.D. in Literacy and Language Education from Purdue University and has earned multiple degrees in English and related fields from institutions in the United States and Puerto Rico.
