Chris Hendriks

System Vice President at Catholic Health

Chris Hendriks has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations. From 1995 to 2003, Hendriks served as the Vice President at South Nassau Communities Hospital, where they successfully built and led a team responsible for public relations, marketing, government relations, and special events. Prior to this, from 1989 to 1995, Hendriks held the position of System Director of Public Relations at Long Island University, overseeing all external and internal public relations efforts for the university. Additionally, Hendriks taught as an Adjunct Professor at C.W. Post, Long Island University from 1991 to 1993. In 2003, Hendriks joined Catholic Health as the Vice President of Public & External Affairs at Good Samaritan Hospital and later took on the roles of Regional Vice President and System Vice President. Throughout their various roles, Hendriks demonstrated expertise in communications, marketing, media relations, government relations, and community engagement.

Chris Hendriks has a BA in English Literature from Elmira College. They also hold a Master's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, Chris Hendriks has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Stony Brook University.
