Matt Kharrl

Matt Kharrl is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. As the Lead Fullstack Engineer at Catio since December 2023, Matt is responsible for the architecture and implementation of enterprise-grade web applications and APIs for an AI platform. Previously, as VP of Engineering at Spec from August 2020 to November 2023, Matt played a crucial role in product development and technical strategy for a pre-seed startup that secured $30 million in venture capital. Prior roles include Product Development Lead and Lead Software Engineer at Atlassian, and various positions at Amazon, ThreatMetrix, Edupoint Educational Systems, and Apple. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
