Christopher Bergen

Christopher Bergen has a strong background in financial planning and analysis. From September 2002 to June 2007, they worked at Citi Trends, where they held the position of Director of Financial Reporting. During their tenure, they played a key role in the coordination of the company's initial and secondary public offerings, managed accounting and sales audit teams, prepared SEC filings, developed controls for SOX compliance, and assisted in budgeting and auditing activities.

Prior to their time at Citi Trends, Christopher worked as a Financial Analyst at Swifty Serve Corporation from August 1999 to August 2002. Christopher then transitioned to Cato Corporation in July 2007, where they initially served as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. In May 2022, they were promoted to the role of Senior Director in the same department, demonstrating their continued growth and expertise in the field.

Christopher Bergen attended Boston University from 1990 to 1994, where they received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business/Commerce, General. Christopher then enrolled at Georgia State University from 1994 to 1996 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
