Scott Harris is the founder and general manager of Catoctin Creek Distilling Company, the first legal distillery in Loudoun County, Virginia since Prohibition, specializing in the production of local organic spirits and liqueurs. Harris serves as chairman of the Virginia Spirits Board, a position appointed by the Governor of Virginia, and is a board member of the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy as well as a director at Silver Branch Brewing Company. Previous experience includes senior software manager at Argon ST, principal project manager at SRA International, product line manager at ECI Telecom, development manager at Pulsecom, and software manager at Arris Interactive. Scott Harris holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has had leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as president of the Catoctin Meadows Homeowners Association.
