Melonnie Manohar has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Melonnie began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Infosys, where they led projects in enterprise relationship management systems and developed ERP platforms using BMC Remedy Software.
Afterwards, they worked as a User Experience Designer at HeyMath!, focusing on developing concepts for an online teacher platform. Melonnie then joined CogBooks as a Product Designer, where they worked on showcasing the value differentiation of the adaptive learning tool while retaining familiarity.
Melonnie later worked as a User Experience Designer at Solu Machines, a Helsinki-based startup, where they focused on designing a first-time user experience for a novel operating system. Melonnie then moved on to EIT Digital, a non-profit organization, where they worked on digital platforms for citizen participation.
In 2018, Melonnie joined Luxoft as a User Experience Expert, designing the personalization feature on the head-units of Mercedes-Benz cars. Melonnie then continued their career at Mercedes-Benz.io, where they served as a Product Design Lead, leading the design of the Mercedes me Service app and championing the overhaul of its information architecture.
Most recently, Melonnie worked at Docker, Inc as a Staff Product Designer, leading the design efforts for the extensions feature on Docker Desktop, resulting in unprecedented adoption rates. Melonnie also led the design for Docker Scout and played a key role in shaping the overall product experience.
In 2023, Melonnie will join Causaly as a Principal Product Designer.
Melonnie Manohar has a strong educational background in the fields of Human Computer Interaction and Design. Melonnie obtained a Master's Degree from Aalto University in 2016 and also completed a Summer School program in Urban Life & Mobility from UCL in 2015. Prior to that, they earned another Master's Degree in Human Computer Interaction and Design from Université Paris-Saclay in 2015. Melonnie also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Technology from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2006. In addition to their formal education, Melonnie has obtained certifications in various areas, such as becoming a UX Strategist from Nielsen Norman Group and completing the EIT Digital program.
