Katy Birkin

Katy Birkin has a strong background in corporate finance with extensive experience as a Director in various companies. Katy started their career as a Corporate Finance Executive at Arbuthnot Securities in 2002. Katy then joined WH Ireland Capital Markets in 2004 as a Director of Corporate Finance, where they stayed until 2010. Katy Birkin then served as the Director of Equities Corporate Finance at Fairfax I.S. PLC from 2010 to 2012. Katy went on to work as a Director of Corporate Finance at SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP from 2012 to 2015. Subsequently, they joined Smith & Williamson in 2015 as a Director of Corporate Finance, where they remained until 2018. Currently, Katy Birkin holds the position of Director of Corporate Finance for Growth Companies at Cavendish, starting from December 2018.

Katy Birkin attended Solihull School from 1997 to 1999, where they did not earn a degree. Katy then went on to Durham University from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Business Finance. Additionally, they obtained a diploma from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in 2006 and a Corporate Finance Qualification from ICAEW in an unspecified year.
