Simon Butterworth has extensive experience in marketing and digital marketing roles. Simon started their career as an SEO Specialist and later became an SEO Manager at Add People from 2011 to 2012. Simon then worked at Reckless as Head of Search from 2012 to 2016, and later as Digital Marketing Director from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Butterworth joined CAVU as Vice President of Digital Marketing, a role they held until 2019 when they were promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. In 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Customer Officer at CAVU.

Additionally, Butterworth has also worked at MAG (Airports Group) with the same roles and timeline as their tenure at CAVU.
