Amber Crone

Amber Crone is an experienced IS Applications Analyst currently working at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca since June 2018, where Amber is a core team member for the Meditech upgrade from the 6.08 platform to the new Meditech 6. Prior to this role, Amber served as an Application Specialist at CalvertHealth Medical Center, contributing to the Meditech upgrade from the Magic 5.66 platform to the new Meditech 6. Amber's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Analyst at Samaritan Medical Center, where responsibilities included maintaining the CDM, leading the implementation of new SOS software, and overseeing Meditech C/S 5.66 for billing systems. Additionally, Amber has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Theater at Jefferson Community College, where teaching methods emphasized creative problem-solving and the development of theater arts. Amber holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theater from the State University of New York at Oswego, along with an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Jefferson Community College.
