Sher Ali Butt

Sher Ali Butt has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Sher Ali co-founded CB Therapeutics in 2015 and served as the CEO and board member. Sher Ali also held the position of CEO at CB Therapeutics during their tenure at Y Combinator in 2018. In addition, they co-founded CB Labs in 2015 and served as the Chief Scientific Officer, where they successfully built a cannabis testing lab within a short timeframe. Sher Ali Butt worked as a Senior Operations Manager at Naturalena Brands from 2013 to 2015 and as a Senior Research Associate/Project Manager at Novartis from 2012 to 2013. Sher Ali also served as the Lab Director at Steep Hill from 2010 to 2011. Currently, Sher Ali Butt holds a position as a venture partner at Pioneer Fund and serves as a board member at TryptageniX.

Sher Ali Butt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, from 2004 to 2009. Sher Ali went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UC San Diego and completed it from 2014 to 2016.
