François Tremblay

François Tremblay has a diverse and extensive background in compensation management and benefits administration. François currently works at CBC/Radio-Canada as the Senior Director of Compensation, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Compensation at the same company from March 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining CBC/Radio-Canada, Tremblay worked at SNC-Lavalin from May 2014 to March 2021. During their time there, they held the positions of Director of Compensation Programs, where they managed a team of five compensation professionals and analysts and oversaw all corporate compensation programs and initiatives. François was also responsible for the management of short-term and long-term incentive plans. Prior to this, they held the role of Compensation Manager from May 2014 to April 2018.

Tremblay's career began at TD in 2005, where they held various compensation and benefits roles. François served as a Total Value Advisor from June 2011 to April 2014, and as the Manager of Benefits, Pension & Disability on a temporary assignment from March 2012 to August 2012. In this role, they managed a team of four specialized HR professionals and was responsible for managing the Flexible Benefits Plan, Pension Plan, and Disability Management processes. François also worked as a Compensation and Benefits Consultant from January 2008 to August 2011, where they developed and implemented compensation programs, evaluated job descriptions, and analyzed market survey data. Additionally, they served as a Compensation and Benefits Technician from April 2005 to December 2007, where they implemented and managed a new benefits program and was in charge of group savings plan remittance and billing processes.

Tremblay holds an MBA degree, as well as certifications in compensation (CCP) and research (CRIA). François'sexpertise lies in compensation management, benefits administration, incentive plans, job evaluation, market analysis, and team leadership.

François Tremblay obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal in 2004. François then pursued their MBA in Gestion at HEC Montréal from 2008 to 2011.
