Siamak Tafavogh

Siamak Tafavogh, PHD has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science. Siamak is currently the Head of the Business Intelligence Group at CBHS Health Fund Limited. Prior to this, they worked at Coca-Cola Amatil as a Group Lead Data Scientist and later as a Lead Data Scientist. Siamak also served as a Data Scientist (Customer Science Decision Manager) at Commonwealth Bank and as a Senior Data Scientist at the Cancer Institute NSW. Additionally, they have lectured at UTS: University of Technology, Sydney, teaching courses on data analytics and intelligent agent.

Siamak Tafavogh, PhD, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Machine Learning from the University of Technology Sydney, which was completed from 2010 to 2014. Siamak also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they have earned certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera Verified Certificates and in the Hadoop Ecosystem from Cloudera, obtained in 2015 and 2013 respectively.
