Steve Grove

Steve Grove has extensive experience in tax consulting and compliance services for closely-held businesses and ownership groups. Steve has worked as a Managing Director at CBIZ since November 2010, where they provide tax planning opportunities, including methods of accounting, cost segregation studies, and research and development studies. Steve also advises clients on short and long-term investment options. Prior to CBIZ, Steve worked as a Shareholder - Tax at Kirkland, Russ, Murphy & Tapp, PA from September 1995 to November 2010, and as a Tax Manager at Ernst & Young from August 1986 to September 1995.

Steve Grove earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 1986. Steve then pursued a Master's degree in Accountancy with a focus on Tax Law/Taxation at the same university from 1987 to 1988. Prior to that, in 1982, they completed their high school education at Dunedin High School. Grove has additional certifications, including the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) Credential obtained in 2008 from AICPA and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation obtained in April 2001 from the CFP Board. Steve also holds a CPA certification, although the institution and year of obtaining it are not specified.
