Sarah McDowell

Vice President, Chief Enforcement Counsel at Cboe

Sarah McDowell has a diverse work history in the legal field. Sarah started their career as a Law Clerk at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2008, where they gained valuable experience. In 2009, they became an Associate Attorney at the same firm, specializing in catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Sarah successfully obtained a verdict for the Plaintiff in a wrongful death/medical malpractice case within their first three months of practice. In 2012, Sarah joined CBOE as an Investigator before transitioning to the role of Enforcement Attorney in 2013. Sarah then moved to FINRA in 2015, where they worked as a Principal Counsel for three years. In 2018, Sarah joined Cboe Global Markets as a Senior Enforcement Counsel. Sarah has since been promoted to Chief Enforcement Counsel and currently holds the position of Vice President.

Sarah McDowell attended Augustana College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Speech Communication. Following that, they attended Capital University Law School from 2006 to 2009 and earned their Juris Doctor degree in Law.
