Guus Zwagemakers has a solid background in portfolio and transaction management in the real estate industry. Guus currently holds the position of Director Portfolio Management for CBRE Investment Management's Pan European Core Fund, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Associate and Associate Portfolio Manager for the same fund from April 2021 to April 2022 and November 2019 to April 2021, respectively. Before joining CBRE, Guus worked as a Transaction Manager and Transaction Analyst at the company from April 2018 to October 2019 and September 2015 to March 2018, respectively. Guus began their career as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor at DTZ Zadelhoff in December 2013, where they worked until September 2015.
Guus Zwagemakers started their education at RSG 't Rijks, where they completed their VWO; Gymnasium degree from 2000 to 2006. Guus then went on to Leiden University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Notarial Law from 2006 to 2010. In 2010 to 2011, Guus Zwagemakers attended Universitat de Barcelona, but the degree obtained during this period is not specified. From 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Notarial Law at Leiden University. During the same period, they also completed a Minor in Business-Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Finally, Guus Zwagemakers attended Henley Business School from 2018 to 2020, where they earned their MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance.
