Melissa Maguire

Melissa Maguire serves as the CBS News Streaming Editorial Director, responsible for developing and executing the editorial strategy for CBS News' national 24-hour digital streaming network since January 2019. Previously, in roles such as Director of Planning and CBSN Planning Producer, Melissa established crucial systems and workflows for news coverage. Prior experience includes serving as the News at 11 Executive Producer for WABC-TV, where Eyewitness News at 11 excelled in Nielsen ratings, and various executive and producer roles at NY1 News, including hiring, special projects, and evening news oversight. Melissa also founded and edited JC Downtown Magazine and holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism and Dramatic Literature from New York University, along with a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School.
