Rami Tzafriri has extensive work experience in the field of research and innovation. Rami worked at CBSET as the Director of Research and Innovation from September 2016 to the present, and prior to that, they held the role of Principal Scientist from March 2009 to August 2016.
Before joining CBSET, Rami worked at the Harvard-MIT Biomedical Engineering Center. There, they served as a Research Affiliate and a Postdoctoral Associate from March 2009 to the present, examining the effects of blood flow and receptor-ligand interactions on drug delivery and tissue distribution in arteries and the myocardium. Rami utilized computational modeling in collaboration with an NIH/NSF/FDA joint venture to enhance the FDA Critical Path Initiative.
Rami Tzafriri has a strong educational background, having obtained their PhD in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. in Physics from the same institution, specializing in physics, between 1994 and 1996. Rami began their academic journey by attaining their B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1989 to 1993.
