Andy Sutcliffe

Andy Sutcliffe has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andy is currently working as a Systems Engineer III - Service Management Tools at CBTS, where they are responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting critical infrastructure for the operations and engineering teams. This includes managing infrastructure such as syslog, mail relays, anti-malware, IPAM, DNS, credential management, and Active Directory. Andy also utilizes automation and DevOps tools like Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Docker.

Prior to their current role, Andy worked as a Systems Engineer II at CBTS, where they supported various Healthcare, Loyalty, and Manufacturing clients. Andy also served as the team lead of the SDS team for a large SLED client, overseeing the support of a wide range of Linux/UNIX and Windows servers, as well as endpoints across multiple data centers and sites. Additionally, they played a key role in deploying a VDI solution for this client.

Before joining CBTS, Andy worked as an IT Systems Analyst at NCO Group and as an Independent Consultant, providing their expertise in various IT projects. Andy also gained experience as an Injection Molding Operator at Siemens and as Dedicated Server Support at Interliant. At Teleperformance, they served as Tier II Support.

Andy Sutcliffe attended DeVry University from 1998 to 1999, where they studied Computer Information Systems. Andy did not obtain a degree during their time at DeVry University. Additionally, Andy received two certifications: Exam Prep: Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Deployment (AZ-100) and Microsoft Azure: Core Functionalities. Andy obtained these certifications in March 2019 from LinkedIn.
