Helena Tubb

Helena Tubb is a clinical research coordinator at cCARE - California Cancer Associates for Research & Excellence since October 2023. Previously, Helena served as a wet lab supervisor at Knight Lab from February 2021 to July 2023, managing projects and personnel in microbiome research. Helena's prior roles include staff research associate positions where responsibilities included leading a team in wastewater sample processing for UCSD's Return to Learn initiative, conducting data analysis on SARS-CoV-2, and ensuring laboratory operations ran smoothly. Helena also gained quality assurance experience at Mosaic Laboratories, reviewing immunohistochemistry data, and led a team of project assistants in organizing preclinical and clinical documents. Academic experience includes undergraduate research roles at UC San Diego, focusing on cognitive science and biological sciences. Helena holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and a Certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management from UC San Diego.
