Jason Stilwell

Jason Stilwell is an experienced public administration professional with a robust background in municipal management. Currently serving as City Manager at the City of Santa Maria Human Resources Division since June 2015, Stilwell has held previous roles including Deputy City Manager and Director of Information Technology and Financial Planning (Interim) for the City of San Luis Obispo. With a career that spans several municipalities, Stilwell's experience includes positions such as City Administrator for the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Assistant County Executive Officer/Budget Director for the County of Santa Barbara. Additionally, Stilwell has taught as an adjunct professor of Public Policy at California State University, Northridge, and has been an instructor at CCCOnline since 2002. Stilwell's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master of Public Administration from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
