Al Richmond

Alan Richmond is an experienced leader in public health and community development, currently serving as the Executive Director for Community-Campus Partnerships for Health since November 2015. Previously, Alan held the position of Director of Jobs and Leadership Development at the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development, where responsibilities included securing funding for statewide health initiatives and fostering a prostate health advocacy network. Earlier roles include serving as Team Leader at Wake County Human Services, providing innovative health promotion services, and as a Program Consultant for the State of North Carolina, focusing on certification of adult day care programs. Alan holds a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Livingstone College.
