John Lenormand

John Lenormand has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Specialty Lines at CCR Re since July 2018, overseeing Marine, Aviation, Space, Energy, Cyber, and Political Violence lines. At CCR - Caisse Centrale de Réassurance since September 2015, John holds dual roles, including Deputy Director of the Public Reinsurance Underwriting Department, responsible for underwriting state-guaranteed reinsurance for natural disasters and terrorism in France, as well as Director of the War Risks, Terrorism & Other Public Reinsurance Department. Additionally, John has held various significant positions in underwriting, audit, and consultancy in previous roles at Effisoft, AXA France, and AXA Corporate Solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Reinsurance Underwriting from ENASS and a Master's in International Trade from ISG, complemented by degrees in physics from Paris-Sud University.
