Amanda Jena

Amanda Jena is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in special education and program operations. Currently serving as a Program Operations Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since August 2024, Amanda previously worked as a Special Education Teacher at PA Virtual Charter School and ACLD Tillotson School. Amanda also held coaching positions, including Head Coach at East Coast Power Volleyball and Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association, demonstrating strong leadership skills in sports. Earlier roles included Client Services Coordinator at Interpace Diagnostics Lab, Special Education Teacher at The Bradley Center, and various educational positions at Bellevue Elementary School and South Park School District. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Carlow University.
