Derek Keevil

Derek Keevil is an experienced User Experience Manager with a robust background in leading design teams and integrating user-centered design principles into software development. Currently at CDK Global since March 2016, Derek manages a team of 11 designers on the redesign of a suite of enterprise SaaS car dealership software, collaborating with cross-functional teams across eight locations. Previous roles include Lead User Experience Designer at Nike, User Experience Manager at Rubicon International, and ownership of The Hat Sharpener consultancy, where Derek designed complex enterprise applications and targeted mobile apps. Other notable positions include User Experience Designer at OpenSesame and ADP Dealer Services, and Interactive Developer for Northwest Evaluation Association. Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Haverford College, completed in 1999.
