Claire Hurst has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Claire'smost recent role was as a Technical Delivery Team Lead at CDL Software since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Scrum Master at numero from 2019 to 2020.

In 2018, Claire joined TransUnion UK as a Principal Engineer in Test / Scrum Master. Claire'sresponsibilities included assisting in building a community of practices, composing policies and guidelines, as well as leading the testing team. Claire also took on the role of Scrum Master, reporting on burnups, assisting with capacity planning, and coaching the team on Scrum best practices.

Before TransUnion, Claire held the position of Test Team Lead at Sage from 2013 to 2018. Claire also worked at LateRooms.com as a Lead Test Analyst and QA Test Analyst from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Software Test Analyst at eSay Solutions from 2010 to 2011.

Claire's earlier experiences include roles at AXA Sunlife, where they worked as a Test Analyst and Test Support Analyst from 2006 to 2010. Claire also worked at AXA Insurance in various roles such as Business Support Analyst, Commercial Small Change Co-Ordinator, UAT Co-Ordinator, Credit Control Team Member, and Personal Lines Instalments Team Member from 2001 to 2006.

Claire's career began at Blackpool Borough Council as a Clerk/Typist from 2000 to 2001.

Claire Hurst attended Highfield High School from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained 10 GCSEs. Claire then attended Blackpool Sixth Form College from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an A Level in English Language and Film Studies. Claire also holds several additional certifications, including a Proofreading and Editing Diploma obtained in 2020, a PSM I certification from Scrum.org obtained in 2019, and a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance obtained in February 2014. In 2017, they completed a course titled "Become an Agile Project Manager" from Lynda.com. Claire has also obtained various other certifications related to ITIL, software testing, requirements engineering, and first line management.
