Serge Varin

Serge Varin, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Serge is currently the President & CEO of CDMV, a Canada-wide distributor specializing in animal health. In this role, Serge ensures the delivery of high-quality products to veterinary teams across the country. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President Operations & Procurement at CDMV.

Before joining CDMV, Serge held various leadership roles in different industries. Serge was the Vice President Logistics and Operations Canada at Uni-Select Inc., a leader in the distribution of automotive refinish and industrial paint. At AMG Medical Inc., Serge served as the Executive Vice President & Vice President Supply Chain, overseeing supply chain activities in Canada, the United States, and Asia.

In addition, Serge has experience in the software industry as the Customer Delivery-Director at Tecsys Inc., where they managed projects related to supply chain optimization software. Serge also worked at DISMED INC as the Vice President Supply Chain, optimizing the supplier-to-client supply chain for medical products.

Earlier in their career, Serge worked at Agropur and Weston Bakeries as the Operations Director and Logistics Director, respectively.

In addition to their professional experience, Serge Varin served as a Member of the Board of Directors at La Cordée Plein Air, a family of outdoor clothing and equipment stores.

Serge Varin, MBA graduated from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal with a degree in Supply Chain. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Divemaster (DM) from PADI in August 2019, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Abacus in February 2017, and Assistant Qualified Person in Charge (A/ QPIC) from Health Canada | Santé Canada (exact obtained month and year are not specified).
