Sebastian Manhart

Sebastian Manhart is a seasoned professional in the fields of carbon removal and digital policy. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at carbonfuture since October 2022, Sebastian has also taken on roles such as Founder of CDRjobs and Chair of the Board at the Deutscher Verein für negative Emissionen e.V. (DVNE) promoting carbon dioxide removal in Germany. Sebastian holds a position as a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy and is a Board Member of the U.S. Biochar Coalition. Previous experience includes technical consulting at the World Bank and serving as an Advisor on Digitisation for the German Federal Chancellery. Sebastian's educational background includes an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and executive education at Harvard Kennedy School.
