Ricardo Couto

Ricardo Couto has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Ricardo currently works as a Research Scientist at Ceapro since 2020. Prior to this, they were associated with the University of Alberta from 2014 to 2019, where they held the positions of Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow. Ricardo also worked as a Post-Doc at Institut de Chimie de la Matiere Condensee de Bordeaux, ICMCB, CNRS, Universite de Bordeaux in 2013. Ricardo started their research career as a PhD student at Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2008 to 2012. Before that, they gained research experience as a Research Student at ITQB - UNL from 2007 to 2008, and at FCT - UNL from 2005 to 2007.

Ricardo Couto completed their B.Sc. in Chemistry from 1997 to 2005 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Ricardo then pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology in 2007, also at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Following that, they went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Sustainable Chemistry from 2008 to 2012, again at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
