Eric Scuoteguazza has a wealth of experience in the field of cultural resources management and archaeology. Eric is currently working as the Principal & Corporate Practice Lead (Cultural Resources) at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. Prior to this, they held various roles at SEARCH, including Sales Manager (global) & Tribal Engagement Sector Leader, Sales Manager (global) & Mid-Atlantic Regional Leader, Regional Leader - Mid-Atlantic, and Project Manager (Archaeologist).
Before joining SEARCH, Eric worked as a Senior Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management. Eric also had a significant tenure at GAI Consultants, Inc., where they held roles such as Senior Manager, Group Manager, Cultural Resources, and Cultural Resources Manager / Department Manager.
Eric’s career began at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, where they served as a Regional Qualified Professional Archaeologist. Eric also worked at GAI Consultants as a Principal Investigator and Field Director Archaeologist / Author. Additionally, they gained experience at Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. and Archaeological Resources Management Service as a Staff Archaeologist, Field Director, and Author.

Eric Scuoteguazza has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a field of study in 2013 from Point Park University. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Anthropology from Ball State University in 1994. Eric also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology and a minor in Earth Science/Geology from Gannon University where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Professional Archaeologist from the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA).
