Kow Okyere Eshun

Kow Okyere Eshun has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Civil Engineer at Earthtech Engineers and then joined THE CONSORTIUM as a Civil Engineer in training. In 2006, they became a Management Trainee at Maersk International Shipping Education (M.I.S.E.) and later transitioned to the role of West Africa Operations Specialist at Maersk Line, where they were responsible for vessel operations in the West Africa trade. In 2010, they became a Graduate Assistant at The University of Akron, conducting research on uncertainty quantification and propagation in geomaterials. After that, in 2014, they worked at Terracon as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer, responsible for developing plans and specifications and resolving design problems. Currently, Kow Okyere Eshun is with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., where they have held positions such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Principal, and currently serves as Vice President and Office Lead.

Kow Okyere Eshun attended Mfantsipim School from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained their SSSCE. Kow Okyere then went on to study Civil Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi from 2001 to 2005, earning their Bachelor of Science degree. Kow Okyere later pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering at The University of Akron from 2010 to 2012. In terms of certifications, Kow Okyere Eshun obtained their Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors, Ohio in December 2012. Kow Okyere also holds certifications in Project Management Professional, Occupational Safety and Health Training Course (OSHA 10-hour), and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Maryland Board for Professional Engineers. Kow Okyere is also registered as a Professional Engineer with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers, although the specific obtained months and years are unknown.
