Michael Plotkin

Michael is a technology executive with three decades of experience in building and managing technology in healthcare, finance, and computer games. He is a recognized leader in software development and delivery of business value from technology, with a unique combination of strategic thinking and focus on results. As CTO of Cecelia Health, Michael defines and manages the company's technical strategy, product development and deployment, information security and client systems' integration.

Prior to joining Cecelia Health, Michael worked as a Chief Architect for Virtual Health, leading the design and cloud deployment of the first comprehensive care management platform for value-based care.

Before coming to Virtual Health, Michael led technology development at small and large companies including McGraw Hill Financial, Electronic Arts, and Sony. Michael received his formative engineering experience at NeXT and later Apple, where he was fortunate to work directly under the leadership of Steve Jobs.

Michael has PhD in Computer Science and deep passion for healthcare and artificial intelligence.
