Kathryn Himes

Kathryn Himes (Brewer) is an experienced mathematics educator currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher for Cecil County Public Schools since July 2019 and a High School Mathematics Teacher for Bryan County Public Schools since July 2017. Prior experience includes teaching Algebra I, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus in various educational settings, as well as roles as an Instructional/Workshop Assistant with the Tidewater Team for Improving Mathematics at The College of William and Mary and a High School Mathematics Teacher at Paris Independent School District. Kathryn’s educational background includes a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Secondary Mathematics from The College of William and Mary and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Texas A&M University-Commerce, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and English from Virginia Tech.
