Steven Marlin

Steven Marlin is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Teacher at Cecil County Public Schools since November 2021. In addition to this role, Steven has been a Judge for National History Day since May 2019. Previously, Steven worked as a Social Studies Teacher at Talley Middle School from August 2020 to November 2021 and at East Penn School District from August 2019 to August 2020, where responsibilities included teaching eighth grade social studies and substituting in various classes. Early teaching experience includes a position as a Student Teacher in the Smyrna School District from September 2018 to May 2019, focusing on diverse seventh-grade classes. Prior to a career in education, Steven gained customer service experience working in the pro-shop at two golf clubs from June 2015 to August 2019. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Teacher Education from the University of Delaware, completed in 2019.
