Scott Nekolny

Scott Nekolny has a strong background in tax, with extensive experience in various senior roles. Scott began their career at KPMG in 1995 as a Senior Manager, where they led a team in a specialty federal tax practice and managed state tax strategies. Scott then joined Fifth Third Bank in 2002 as an AVP - Tax Project Manager, where they led a team in tax research and planning and implemented various tax savings projects. In 2015, they moved on to Phillips Edison & Company as the Associate Vice President of Tax, overseeing all aspects of REIT tax compliance and providing guidance on acquisitions and dispositions. Scott is currently serving as the Global Director of Tax at CECO Environmental Corporation.

Scott Nekolny obtained a JD degree in Law from DePaul University College of Law, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Bradley University, earning a BS degree in Accounting from 1988 to 1992. In addition, they hold a CPA certification from the state of Illinois.
