Rafael Figueiredo

Rafael Figueiredo is a legal professional with extensive experience in data protection, technology, and corporate law. Currently serving as a researcher at GITEC/FGV and IBChain, Rafael is involved in exploring the impact of technology on legal relations and specializing in blockchain applications. As the Head of Privacy and Data Protection at CEDAE, Rafael drives the implementation of the LGPD and provides legal advice in corporate contexts. Additionally, roles include coordinating the Technical Chamber of Legal and Management Instruments for the Guandu Watershed Committee and contributing to various legal committees within notable organizations such as the Brazilian Association of Public Governance of Personal Data and ANPPD. Rafael's academic pursuits include a Master's in Law and Technology from FGV DIREITO SP and ongoing studies in Criptoeconomia at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
