Michael Pontious

Michael Pontious is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in nursing and education. Currently serving as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center since January 2014, and as an Adjunct Instructor for the Student Vocational Nursing Program at Austin Community College since March 2013, Michael holds certifications in ACLS and PALS. With a nursing career that began in 1996 at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, Michael also has a rich history in production and operations, having worked as a Production Chemical Operator at Unocal Oil & Energy and in production at KBMT-TV Channel 12. Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mass Communications from Lamar University.
