Ian Tajgiszer has a diverse work experience, primarily in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Ian started in 2020 as a Ride Host at Cedar Point Amusement Park, where they ensured team member and guest safety while overseeing operations of world-class attractions. In 2021, Ian took on a supervisory role as the Supervisor of Ride Operations, leading and coaching over 100 associates and increasing ride efficiency through enhanced operating procedures. Ian also worked as a Team Leader in the same company during this time. In 2021, Ian interned at Cedar Point Sports Center, where they developed and implemented standard operating procedures and assisted in organizing inaugural events. Ian later joined Cedar Point Amusement Park as a Human Resources Assistant and then as a Front Desk Supervisor at Hotel Breakers, where they focused on improving guest service scores and developing training programs. Most recently, Ian worked as a Recruiter for Cedar Point Amusement Park, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and managing requisitions for seasonal and part-time positions. Ian also has experience outside the hospitality industry, having worked as a Barista at Starbucks and a Cashier at Giant Eagle, Inc., where they oversaw operations and ensured high product quality.
Ian Tajgiszer completed their Bachelor's degree in Resort and Attraction Management at Bowling Green State University from 2020 to 2023. In addition, they obtained certifications in ServSafe Food Handler, Community CPR & AED, and ServSafe Alcohol from Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and Ellis and Associates, Inc. in July 2021.
